d-Tilt-EL
The d-Tilt-EL is a dual-axis electrolytic tiltmeter designed for semi-permanent installation in a borehole or on a surface structure, reporting both tilt and temperature.

Overview
In detail
How it works
d-Tilt-EL uses a dual-axis electrolytic tilt sensor with an on-board digital temperature sensor for compensation. Each instrument is individually calibrated, with the coefficients stored in microcontroller memory; a 24-point piecewise linearisation keeps linearity within 0.25% F.S.
The RS485 output is an ASCII-encoded message carrying sensor ID, sensor type, and temperature/tilt data directly in real-world units (arcdeg and °C), avoiding the need for external analog-to-digital conversion.
Deployment
Available in uniaxial or biaxial configurations for moderate-to-high resolution slope, backfill, fault and pillar monitoring. The RS485 signal transmits over 1000 ft without amplification; data can be logged for up to 3 months on a data logger or networked over TCP/IP. Housing is 115 x 65 x 40 mm, supplied with 10 m of leadwire.
