Biaxial Tiltmeter with waterproof housing
The biaxial tiltmeter is a dual-axis clinometer for structural, geotechnical and industrial monitoring, available as the traditional MD900 model with a mounting backing plate and built-in lightning suppression, or as a compact Geosystems digital tilt sensor for direct connection to digital logging and telemetry systems.

Overview
In detail
How it works
The biaxial clinometer measures tilt (pitch and roll) simultaneously on two axes. It is used across a wide range of industrial, scientific and GPS applications, including antenna positioning, surface and subsea marine work, structural monitoring, and industrial test and measurement.
Models
The traditional MD900 tiltmeter comes with a convenient backing plate for easy installation and an inbuilt suppressor board for lightning protection. A newer, compact Geosystems digital dual-axis tilt sensor is also available and connects simply to digital logging and data telemetry solutions.
Housing & protection
The MD900 model is housed in a die-cast, painted aluminium enclosure rated to NEMA 4X / IP65, operating across -40 to +85°C.
