TH Series Temperature Sensor

Roctest's TH series is a family of embedment temperature sensors for rock, concrete, soil and ground fill, available as the TH-T thermistor, TH-PT100 platinum resistor and TH-TC thermocouple variants to suit different accuracy and range needs.

In detail

Measurement

TH-T uses a 3 kΩ chip thermistor, measuring -50°C to +150°C at ±0.5% F.S. accuracy with 0.1°C resolution. TH-PT100 uses a 100 Ω platinum resistor, measuring -200°C to +600°C at ±0.15°C accuracy at 0°C. TH-TC is a thermocouple built from twin AWG 24 wire in a 0.38 mm PVC jacket, measuring -60°C to +400°C at ±0.1% F.S. accuracy with 0.1°C resolution.

Deployment

All three variants share a compact 16 mm OD x 51 mm housing, in PVC or stainless steel, and connect to a portable readout or data acquisition system for long-term temperature monitoring embedded in rock, concrete, soil or ground fill.
