DiTemp Reading Unit
The DiTemp Reading Unit is a rack-mountable Raman OTDR interrogator for distributed temperature sensing, measuring along fiber optic sensing cables up to 30 km with down to 1 m spatial resolution and a 10 second measurement time.
- Range
- 15 km / 30 km
- Spatial resolution
- down to 1 m
- Sampling resolution
- 1 m

Overview
In detail
How it works
Uses the Raman OTDR measuring principle to capture a full temperature profile along a fiber optic sensing cable. A single built-in channel can be expanded to 4, 8 or 16 channels with an external multiplexer, and the unit is available in multimode or singlemode fiber versions.
Deployment
Rated for 5°C to 40°C operation (-15°C to +65°C storage), with a user-selectable measurement time from 10 seconds up to 60 minutes. Connects via Modbus, Ethernet or TCP through the DiView software, plus a volt-free alarm module.
