MB3d Digital Infrasound Sensor
The MB3d is the digital version of Seismo Wave's MB3a infrasound sensor, with an embedded 24-bit digitiser. It records ultra-low-frequency acoustic signals from 0.01 to 28 Hz for atmospheric and seismic monitoring.

Overview
In detail
How it works
The MB3d shares the MB3a's low-noise sensing element but adds an embedded 24-bit digitiser, so it records ultra-low-frequency acoustic signals from 0.01 to 28 Hz with instrumental noise more than 18 dB below the Low Noise Model at 1 Hz.
Integrated digitiser
The sensor integrates a 24-bit digitiser with 1 GB of onboard storage, removing the need for a separate external digitiser in the field.
Applications
Used across scientific, civil and military infrasound monitoring: explosion monitoring, volcanology, meteorology, earthquake and tsunami monitoring, tornado tracking, meteor detection, landslide and avalanche monitoring, and wind farm emissions.
