DiTemp Light Reading Unit
The DiTemp Light Reading Unit is an entry-level Raman OTDR interrogator for distributed temperature sensing, measuring along fiber optic sensing cables up to 4 km with 2 m spatial resolution and a 10 second measurement time.

Overview
In detail
How it works
Uses the same Raman OTDR measuring principle as the rest of the DiTemp range to measure a full temperature profile over a fiber optic sensing cable, with a built-in 4-channel multiplexer.
Deployment
Rated for 0°C to 40°C operation (-15°C to +65°C storage), the unit connects via RS-232, Modbus or Ethernet/TCP through the DiView software, plus a volt-free alarm module for interfacing with plant control systems.
