Overview
In detail
How it works
A dual-axis MEMS accelerometer's duty-cycle digital signal is processed on-board to give a typical accuracy of 0.025 arcdeg at 0.01 arcdeg resolution. Each sensor is individually calibrated and temperature-compensated by an incorporated digital temperature sensor, and is shock-rated to 1000 g.
The RS485 output is an ASCII-encoded message carrying sensor ID, sensor type and temperature/tilt data directly in real-world units (arcdeg and °C).
Deployment
Suited to moderate-resolution slope, backfill, fault, pillar and bulkhead monitoring in non-retrievable applications. The signal transmits over 1000 ft without amplification; data can be logged for up to 3 months on a data logger or networked over TCP/IP. Housing is 65 x 58 x 35 mm, supplied with 10 m of leadwire.
