SMP6 Pyranometer
The SMP6 has an RS-485 Modbus® RTU interface, amplified analogue output, improved response time and temperature-corrected measurement data. The wide, low power supply range from 5 to 30 VDC makes integration into meteorological and solar energy stations easy. Combining the sensor technology and housing of the CMP6 with both digital and analogue outputs, the SMP6 is extremely robust and reliable, and comes with a 5-year warranty.

Overview
In detail
ISO 9060 and IEC 61724 Class B
Fully compliant with ISO 9060:2018 spectrally flat Class B specifications, the SMP6 delivers excellent spectral absorption and long-term stability characteristics. Compared to the CMP3 and SMP3 models it provides improved performance due to the increased thermal mass and the double glass dome construction.
Outputs and integration
For easy integration into SCADA systems the SMP6 has Modbus® RTU RS-485 serial communication, plus an amplified analogue output. The sensitivity is stored inside for standardized outputs, and it features improved response time and digital temperature compensation. It is available in a V-version (0 to 1 V output) and an A-version (4 to 20 mA output), both adjustable with the SmartExplorer software for configuration, test and data logging.
Minimized maintenance
The SMP6 is a robust pyranometer designed to provide high quality measurements with little maintenance needs. It is fitted with a maintenance-free internal desiccant that lasts at least 10 years.
