SMP21 Secondary Standard Pyranometer
The SMP21 pyranometer is a secondary standard pyranometer that combines the sensor technology of the CMP21 with an RS-485 Modbus interface alongside analogue output. With internal desiccant and robust build quality, the SMP21 is very low maintenance.

Overview
In detail
Interface and power
The SMP21 has a Modbus® RTU interface, amplified analogue output, improved response time and individually temperature-corrected measurement data. It is supplied with individually measured cosine response data. The wide, low power supply range from 5 to 30 VDC makes integration into meteorological and solar energy stations easy, and the SMP21 is protected against over-voltage, reversed polarity and short circuiting.
