What Streams does
Built for earthquake analysis
Live monitoring display
Colour-code each seismic channel as a WARNING or ALERT on your own signal thresholds, with the display amplitude fixed in velocity or acceleration to show how close the signal gets.
Email alarms
Set alarm levels in velocity (mm/s) or acceleration (mm/s² or g) and have alerts sent out via email — built for building, dam and control-room monitoring.
Global data feeds
Subscribe to hundreds of global seismic stations and any other SeedLink server, or feed Streams with common format data files via FTP.
Event detection
When any remote station detects an earthquake, Streams immediately requests data from all connected Gecko recorders — automatic, even for stations not streaming continuously.
Gecko recorder control
Integrated Gecko control and configuration with broadcast streaming for event association and notifications; hide or filter channels, or request older data from a Gecko’s SD card.
Analysis with Waves
Streams 3.6 refines the state-of-health CSV files and adds SOH-interval controls for Gecko recorders running v7.6 firmware.
