PW Series Vibrating Wire Multi Level Piezometer
The PW-ML multi-level piezometer strings multiple vibrating-wire piezometers along a single communication cable, connected to a data acquisition system (SENSLOG) or readout (MB-3TL), allowing pore-water pressure to be measured precisely at several depths from one borehole.

Overview
In detail
How it works
A typical installation uses direct grouting, so only the multi-level piezometer string and a grout injection tube are needed to complete it. Once the grout hardens, the piezometers are isolated from one another, allowing precise measurement of pore water pressure changes at different depths. Junctions between each piezometer and the main cable are reinforced with epoxy resin for a waterproof, durable seal.
Configuration
Sensor spacing along the readout cable is customer-defined, giving precise depth control based on site-specific requirements. Up to 6 piezometers can be fitted per chain with temperature sensing, or up to 12 without temperature sensing.
