Overview
In detail
How it works
A sophisticated capacitive ceramic pressure-sensitive diaphragm measures water pressure; an electronic circuit converts the variation into an analogue output. The sensor's body is made from robust, corrosion-resistant Acetal, fully sealed against moisture penetration and hardwired to the supplied cable. It offers high overload protection, up to 60 times its nominal pressure, along with corrosion resistance and long-term stability.
Data logging
An internal, non-volatile, battery-backed data logger with a real-time clock stores readings, with 4 Mb of memory typically holding around 250,000 readings (more than 12 months of data at 5-minute intervals). Data is read via SensorMate software, and an optional adaptor provides a 3-wire SDI-12 serial output.
Options
An SDI-12 adaptor and an internal battery power supply are both available as optional extras.
