ORP-1000L Oxidation Reduction Potential Sensor
The Greenspan ORP-1000L is a submersible oxidation-reduction potential (ORP) sensor with an internal data logger, designed and manufactured in Australia for long-term unattended field deployment on low-voltage power.
- Range
- ±1000 mV
- Output
- Internal data logger (SensorMate software); optional SDI-12 (3-wire)
- Supply
- 8 to 30 V DC (at sensor), or onboard battery pack (option)

Overview
In detail
How it works
A platinum electrode with an internal Ag/AgCl reference measures oxidation-reduction potential; the electrode is field replaceable. Readings are captured by a non-volatile, battery-backed internal data logger with a real-time clock, so the sensor can be left in the field for extended periods on low power.
Connectivity
The internal logger stores data accessible via SensorMate software; an optional SDI-12 adaptor provides 3-wire serial output. An optional onboard battery pack is available for sites where power supply cannot be provided.
Deployment
Typical applications include streams and rivers, water and wastewater treatment monitoring, and groundwater analysis and industrial water process monitoring.
