Oberon-XL and Oberon-XLE Polar-Orbiting Satellite Tracking and Reception
Oberon-XL is a turnkey polar-orbiting satellite ground station that tracks, receives and processes X- and L-band data from environmental observation satellites operated by NASA, NOAA and other agencies, supporting more than 160 ocean, land and atmospheric analysis applications. Oberon-XLE is the equivalent system configured for European satellite data sources.

How it works
The ground station tracks and receives direct-broadcast transmissions from polar-orbiting satellites, then processes the X- and L-band data with integrated software that offers both high- and low-resolution collection and processing options.
Data sources
Oberon-XL receives NASA Terra and Aqua, US NOAA, EUMETSAT METOP, NSMC Fengyun, Suomi NPP and JPSS-1.
Oberon-XLE is approved for European applications and receives X-Band Terra, Aqua MODIS, NPP VIIRS, JPSS-1, L-Band METOP EPS and NOAA POES HRPT.
