Greenspan’s multi-parameter sensor can simultaneously measure up to 6 water quality parameters in one portable probe. The MP series can have up to 3 sensors recording 4 parameters (EC records Temperature). The MQ series can measure up to 6 parameters with 5 sensors.

In detail
Two chassis sizes
Multiparameter probes come in two body sizes: the MP series with a 47 mm diameter main body, and the MQ series with a 65 mm diameter main body. The MP series can carry up to 3 sensors recording 4 parameters (the EC sensor also records temperature), while the larger MQ series can measure up to 6 parameters with 5 sensors. pH and ORP cannot be used in combination with the MP chassis — the MQ chassis must be used, and turbidity and optical dissolved oxygen cannot be combined on the same sensor.
Available parameters
Sensor options cover dissolved oxygen, turbidity, electrical conductivity, oxidation reduction potential, pH and depth (submersible pressure), with temperature recorded alongside electrical conductivity. Depending on requirements the probe is fitted with the appropriate combination of sensors.
Logging and power
The probes run from 8 to 30 V DC at the sensor, or from an optional on-board battery pack of 9 lithium AA cells that supports over 12 months of remote operation at 30-minute data logging. An internal non-volatile data logger with real-time clock stores 250,000 readings in 4 Mb of memory, with logging frequency user-selectable from 1 second up to once per day.

Greenspan has made its range of water quality sensors in Australia for over two decades, designed to reliably deliver accurate data in harsh environments, with local support, repairs, recalibration and spares from its Melbourne factory.
