What's included
The kit contains a fibre microscope, a laser, a rechargeable fibre optic connector cleaner with 2 spare tapes, connector openers, and a ferrule mate, all held in a protective case.
How it's used
Connecting the FO sensor to the laser reveals light losses along the whole sensor fibre length. The microscope, together with the connector cleaning tape and connector openers, is used to inspect and remove dust or particles from fibre optic sensor connectors. The ferrule mate allows connectors to be cleaned efficiently without disconnecting them.
