d-Exto
The d-EXTO is a Yieldpoint fully integrated, pre-assembled multi-point borehole extensometer that combines a traditional multi-rod design with digital signal processing, using up to six Linear Variable Induction Transducers (LVIT) and an on-board digital temperature sensor.

How it works
Up to six Linear Variable Induction Transducers (LVIT) plus an on-board digital temperature sensor give displacement accuracy typically of 0.5% F.S. below 10 m and 1% linearity above 10 m, depending on the distance between the anchor point and the head.
Connectivity
Output is RS485, transmissible up to 500 m over two twisted pairs, as an asynchronous serial signal (9600, 8, N, 1) that is ASCII-encoded with values and units transmitted.
