C-Band Weather Radar from EEC
EEC's C-Band weather radar range provides customisable Doppler weather detection for weather services, national governments, broadcasters and businesses, spanning the 250 kW DWSR-2501C through to the 1 MW DWSR-10001C. Systems are configured with single or dual-polarity transmitters and matched with EEC's IQ2 signal processor and digital receiver for mid- to long-range weather events.

In detail
Model range
The DWSR-2501C, DWSR-2501C/K and DWSR-3501C are 250 kW and 350 kW C-Band radars available with either Magnetrons or Klystrons, in single or dual-polarity configurations. The DWSR-5001C is a 500 kW Magnetron system that delivers 250 kW of power in both the horizontal and vertical plane for dual-polarisation performance. The DWSR-10001C is the most powerful system in the range, at 1 MW, used by TV broadcasters for severe weather detection and display.
System package
EEC's turnkey design, manufacturing and installation process configures each system to the customer's specifications, with options including single or dual-polarity transmitters and a range of control and display systems. Systems are matched with EEC's IQ2 signal processor and digital receiver for accurate mid- to long-range Doppler weather data, with installation and radome options to suit the deployment environment.
