HID BluLog

Data Logging and Bluetooth Networking for Digital HID Cell 3D Stress Sensor

User Interface via Android device

Standalone Datalogging or Networked by adding a Gateway device LTE-M or WIFI Ethernet LAN

• Data logging of Triaxial (3D) Stress magnitude and orientation
• Civil tunnelling, storage caverns & underground excavation industry
• Rock Stress monitoring for coal & metalliferous mining
• Rock and concrete stress monitoring in civil projects such as tunnels, dams or bridges
• Collect 3D or triaxial stress data in real time
• Monitor stress condition and relative stress change
• Monitor long-term stress in pillars
• Monitor geotechnical problem areas experiencing tunnel closure and deformation

Description

The HID BluLog provides wireless functionality and data-logging (30,000 readings) for
HID38 or HID76 digital stress sensors. It is an economical solution for creating either a
standalone data-logger that can be downloaded using any android device, or a wireless
sensor network to report data in real time.
The hardware costs of creating a Bluetooth 5 wireless solution will typically be comparable
or less than a wired solution by reducing costs related to lead wire and multiple wired data-loggers.
The logger runs from two user-replaceable internal lithium batteries which will last more
than two years when set to 1 reading per hour.
The HID BluLog enables instruments to be managed by an Android device using the BluPoint App.
